At the 27 March Ordinary Council Meeting, a motion* was carried by simple majority that, in part, included changing the date of the June 2024 Ordinary Council Meeting to be held on Tuesday, 25 June 2024.
The reasoning for this change is that the Mayor, the Deputy Mayor and one other Councillor will be attending the 2024 Pilbara Summit (being held in Karratha) on behalf of the Town of Port Hedland on Wednesday, 26 June 2024 and Thursday, 27 June 2024.
