Socially Inclusive Communities WA
The Town of Port Hedland has been selected by the Department of Communities to participate in the Socially Inclusive Communities WA for 2019/20 which provides support to sports clubs and community groups by building capacity, increasing knowledge and developing skills to ensure that people with disability are valued and included within local activities.
Community Clubs Mentoring
As part of this initiative, the Town is offering FREE mentoring opportunities with Inclusion Solutions for local community clubs and groups.
Specialising in the empowerment of local clubs and organisations, Inclusion Solutions have a variety of resources, tools and knowledge to positively influence clubs/ groups to be successful and reflective of our whole community. The mentoring relationship will be specific to each club and provide a platform for community groups to attract resources, members and volunteers.
Local groups successful in applying for mentoring will be provided best-practice frameworks to follow to be more inclusive and connected within their local community. Local community clubs interested in taking part in this mentoring opportunity are invited to express their interest by 18 October, 2019 using the form below.
Inclusion Workshops
Inclusion Solutions will also be delivering three FREE workshops for Port Hedland Clubs and Organisations over the next 12 months. Watch this page for more information and dates!
