Recreational boaters are advised that Pilbara Ports will permanently close the Richardson Street boat ramp to the public on Friday 31 May.
The condition of the boat ramp has deteriorated, and its location within the main shipping channel presents a significant safety hazard to recreational boaters.
Boaters are encouraged to use the new four-lane boat ramp at the Spoilbank Marina, which is now open 24-hours-a-day, seven days a week.
