The Town acknowledges there is a lot of interest in the recent Special Council Meeting on 11 October in which Councillors voted 5-2 to distribute correspondence on COVID-19 vaccines.
This motion required the CEO to write letters to government stakeholders, local governments and Hedland health providers.
Those letters have now been sent, including to every Local Government in Australia.
The Town of Port Hedland has also been made aware of a website imitating its tone and branding purporting to provide information regarding the Town’s motion and subsequent actions.
