We’d like local families to have a say in our December 2020 Childcare Survey, to assess the progress which has been made since 2018. This is your opportunity to let us know your thoughts and concerns, as well as the areas we should focus on moving forward.
Although not traditionally the jurisdiction of local government, the Town understands the important role that access to quality and affordable child care plays in building livable regional communities. Extensive community consultation in recent years has found child care shortage as one of the biggest impediments for the retention of families over the longer term.
Your responses to our survey will help us plan and invest in strategies to further ease waitlists and give Hedland a brighter future. All responses are confidential, and each survey response should take approximately 10 minutes.
