Lost Animals

Contact Ranger Services as soon as possible to see if your pet has been impounded.

Animals are held for a minimum of three days and are released upon payment & proof of registration, all animals must be registered before being released.

Pound administration hours are 9am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday, animals can be collected by appointment only.

Please note: cats unable to be identified and deemed to be feral (based on appearance/behaviour) may be disposed of before the 72 hour period.

Found Animals

To give the owner every opportunity to locate his or her pet, if you find a stray animal, please contact Ranger Services. Ranger Services will arrange to collect the dog and will endeavour to reunite the dog with its owner.
