The Bureau of Meteorology are coming to Port Hedland on October 28th to hold a paid community workshop. They are looking for 10 participants from Port Hedland and surrounds to help them understand how:
- The community uses our warning products and services
- How warnings impact decision making
- How warnings influence community preparedness and safety.
They will use the information collected to enhance the warning services and products issued by the Bureau.
Participants will be paid $200 if chosen for the workshop. This incentive is paid via Askable.
What: 2-hour in-person workshop, facilitated by the Bureau of Meteorology
When: Monday, 28th October 1-3pm
Where: Milpaku Kuma Community Centre, meeting room
