The Town is aware of a news report which aired on GWN7 on Tuesday 16 November, regarding alleged comments made by Mayor Peter Carter in conversation with a community member.
The Town takes mental health seriously and expresses care and concern when residents face crises in any context.
The Town is currently looking into the matter and has been in contact with the community member featured in the report regarding their current living situation.
